Holistic Nutritional Consulting

Many people want to eat healthier, but they don’t know how. There is a lot of information about nutrition in general, but how do you know what is best for you?

Holistic Nutritional Consultants are unique! We help you make individualized nutritional adjustments at a pace you are comfortable with, in order to create lasting change. We don’t believe in magic bullets or quick fixes, although many people do see positive changes after a short period of time.

As practitioners, we take an in-depth look at your health history, assess your needs, and come up with a very specific plan to help you achieve your health goals. Our tailored recommendations are based on a whole foods way of eating. We promote and advocate organic, homegrown, and locally grown foods, that are minimally processed and prepared in a healthful way. We talk to you about stress coping techniques, exercise, and living a more holistic lifestyle. We help educate you and empower you to live and feel your very best.

My in-depth assessment questionnaire will uncover which of your body systems need support and I will give you a personalized plan based on any deficiencies, or symptoms you’d like to address, which include the steps to healthy digestion, healthy eating strategies, supplement recommendations(if needed), and lifestyle coaching.

I also work closely and network with other alternative and medical practitioners, such as Naturopaths, Counselors, Chiropractors, Osteopaths, and Medical Doctors, etc, so I can refer you to them if I feel like you need support from additional resources.

Please note that my nutrition insurance only provides coverage for Canadian residents.

Meditation is a powerful tool that anyone can learn and incorporate into their life. With regular meditation, you can learn how to live in the present moment. Why is this important? When we focus on the present moment, we experience less suffering. Often, dwelling about past events or worrying about the future can cause feelings of anxiety, depression, and cause us to suffer. Meditation helps you condition your thought patterns to refocus on being in the “now.” I use a combination of meditation tools, including mindfulness, visualization, Pratyahara, and breath work during my sessions.

Bowen Therapy

The Bowen Technique was developed in Australia by the late Tom Bowen. Interested in ways of relieving suffering, Mr. Bowen found that when he made certain movements on the body, it had a profound effect. He developed his technique over time with no previous training in any healthcare field. With word of his amazing technique spreading, Tom Bowen was eventually treating an average of 13,000 patients per year!

A typical Bowen session consists of gentle, rolling movements on muscle and connective tissues. Though the pressure applied by the practitioner is light, this specific stimulus causes a very profound and long lasting effect on the body.

Bowen Therapy is completely safe and appropriate for people of all ages and at all levels of fitness.

It is very effective for the following conditions:

  1. Back and neck pain
  2. Scoliosis
  3. Sport's injuries
  4. Repetitive stress injuries
  5. TMJ dysfunction
  6. Migrains/ headaches
  7. Digestive conditions
  8. Asthma and other respiratory conditions

I started seeing Beverly when my arm started to hurt. Her massage fixed it. Her massages have helped me every time I was in pain. One time my lower back hurt so much I couldn’t even roll over in bed. She took me in right away. Just touching my lower back hurt. After an hour of her massage my back started to feel better. After a few days, there was no pain at all.
